Directions

Directly from the starting point at the Rüfiplatz take the hiking bus in the direction of Oberlech. Get off at the terminus "Schlössle". Follow the asphalted road uphill to Tannberg vantage point. From here a forest path leads you down to the right downhill to a bridge. On the other side of the road we continue uphill to the Gaisbühelalpe. Over colourful mountain meadows, the trail climbs slowly uphill and downhill to Auenfeldsattel. Turn right here and follow the hiking trail uphill and then down again until you come across an alpine path just before Bürstegg. Turn left to Bürstegg. Here you can rest and enjoy the unique landscape and tranquillity. Follow the path past the stable and keep left. The path leads into a small depression and from there uphill to the top of the tub. From there, a forest trail leads down steep serpentines to Warth. You can take the hiking bus back to Lech.

Suggestions

Special features: Bürstegg - formerly year-round inhabited Walser settlement including church, where today only alpine farming is operated.

Instead of taking the bus, you can also take the Oberlech cable car and walk from there to the starting point.
