Winter hiking

A sunny hike to car-free Oberlech, the sunny balcony of the Arlberg.

The winter walk starts in Lech am Rüfiplatz. We cross the old wooden bridge, turn right and walk along the Lech. Past the ski slopes, the Oberlech mountain railway you reach the road. The signposting of the hiking trail can be seen from a distance. The path leads uphill on the left. After about 20 minutes you reach Oberlech. From here it continues left through Oberlech to the Petersbodenbahn. Shortly after, the path branches off to the left and goes downhill again in the direction of Lech. The path ends at the Lechuferweg.
The path can also be taken in the opposite direction.

Public transport

Take the train to Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg station. From there, buses (no. 750+760) run at regular intervals to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
