Cheerful and ready for a very special experience in the Lechquellen Mountains? Headlamps on and off we go! The sunrise tour on the Wartherhorn offers a varied summit ascent and impressive views.

Meeting point is the valley station of the Steffisalp-Express (opens from 9 a.m.). Depending on the sunrise time, the start is between 3.30 and 5.00 a.m. The hike is easy and takes two and a half hours along marked mountain trails to the summit cross. Arrived at the mountain station, it goes through dewy meadows, along the signposted hiking trail in the direction of the Wartherhorn. Keep left at the Wartherhornsattel and follow the path for a few minutes to the summit. Arrived at the summit cross you can enjoy the sunrise and will be rewarded with a fantastic panorama. On the descent there is also time to admire the picturesque landscape. You can return the same way or with the Steffisalp Express.
